Scheduling and Timing

Every session begins with the student reciting the section covered in the previous class. The tutor listens without interrupting, then provides feedback on the specific rules that were applied correctly and those that need more work. Revision before new material is not optional. It is how Tajweed knowledge moves from short-term memory to permanent recitation habit.

New Rule or Quran Section - 20 to 30 Minutes

The tutor introduces the new rule, demonstrates correct pronunciation, and asks the student to repeat. For a rule like Qalqalah, the tutor produces the echo on each of the five Qalqalah letters while the student listens, then asks the student to produce it on each letter, correcting in real time. For Quran application sessions, the tutor recites each verse first and the student follows, verse by verse.

Practice Exercises and Quran Application

Every Tajweed rule is practiced first in isolation, then in words, then in Quranic verses. A student who has just learned Ikhfa practices it on written exercise words before applying it in Surah Al-Baqarah.
