Noorani Qaida Course | Learn Quran the Right Way Online

Your child recites Al-Fatiha daily, but correct Makharij matters. We help perfect every letter, building a lifelong foundation for accurate Quran recitation. Our Noorani Qaida course starts exactly there. We teach the Arabic alphabet before we teach anything else. We teach it correctly, from the right Makharij, with a qualified tutor giving your child personal attention in every single session, not a pre-recorded video they click through at night. Whether you are enrolling your child for the first time or you are an adult who wants to learn Noorani Qaida yourself, our online Noorani Qaida classes are structured, progressive, and built for real results.

Lets talk

Noorani Qaida Online

What Students Learn Lesson by Lesson

Each concept below is a formal named element of Islamic Quranic sciences. We name them here because parents deserve to know exactly what their child is learning, not just that they are ‘doing Quran.’

Huroof ul-Mufridaat

The 29 Arabic Letters

Every session in our online Noorani Qaida begins with letter recognition. Students learn each letter’s name, its shape in isolation, its two or three joined forms, and most importantly its Makharij: the exact physical position in the throat, tongue, lips, or nasal cavity from which each sound originates. This is not phonics in the western sense. It is a centuries-old science of Arabic articulation with specific named rules.

Harakat

The Three Short Vowels

Fatha (a sound), Kasra (i sound), and Damma (u sound) are the three short vowels that control the sound of every Arabic letter in the Quran. Without mastering Harakat, a student cannot read any Quranic text. We spend a full level of the qaida for beginners on Harakat alone before introducing anything more complex.

Tanween

Double Vowels

Tanween adds a nasal ending sound to words in Arabic. In the Quran, Tanween appears in hundreds of places and affects recitation timing and sound. Incorrect Tanween is one of the most common errors in Quran recitation for non-Arab Muslims. We address it explicitly.

Sukun

Tashdeed and Madd

Sukun is the resting sound marker that stops a letter’s vowel. Tashdeed doubles a letter with emphasis. Madd stretches a vowel sound to 2, 4, or 6 beats depending on its type. These three rules together govern the rhythm and flow of proper Quranic recitation. Students who know them can read the Quran with the measured, beautiful pace described in Surah Al-Muzzammil: ‘Recite the Quran in slow, measured, rhythmic tones.’

Sakinah

Noon Sakinah and Meem Sakinah

These are the advanced rules in the final four lessons of the Noorani Qaida. They govern how the letters Noon and Meem behave when they appear without a vowel, including the rules of Idgham (merging), Ikhfa (concealing), and Iqlab (converting). Mastering these rules is the final gate before independent Quran reading begins.

Learn Noorani Qaida | 3-Level Course for Kids and Adults

The Noorani Qaida contains 16 lessons. We organize them into three levels based on skill complexity. Students do not move to the next level until their tutor confirms the current one is solid. There is no arbitrary deadline.

Levels Lessons What Your Child Learns
Beginner 1 to 6 Arabic alphabet (Huroof ul-Mufridaat) in isolated form, joined letter shapes, correct Makharij for each letter
Intermediate 7 to 11 Short vowels (Harakat: Fatha, Kasra, Damma), double vowels (Tanween), Sukun (resting sound), Tashdeed (emphasis/doubling)
Advanced 12 to 16 Madd (elongation rules), Leen letters, Noon Sakinah and Meem Sakinah rules, complex recitation exercises leading into Quran reading

Who it's for

Learn Noorani Qaida Online | Who Our Course Is Built For

Our noorani qaida course for kids and adults is built around five specific types of learners. We structure the pacing and approach differently for each.

Children aged 3 to 12

This is the most common enrollment in our online Noorani Qaida classes. Children in this age range learn Arabic letters naturally and quickly when taught through short, structured, patient sessions. Our tutors who specialize in qaida for kids use recognition games, repetition drills, and gentle correction to keep children engaged across 30 to 40-minute sessions.

Non-Arab Adult Beginners

You grew up Muslim but your Quran recitation never had proper Makharij. You recite from memory without being sure each letter is coming from the right place. Our noorani qaida for beginners starts adults from the Arabic alphabet, without the assumption that you know anything, and without the pace of a children’s class.

Muslim Reverts

You accepted Islam and want to learn Quran reading from the beginning. The Noorani Qaida is the correct starting point, not jumping straight into Surah Al-Fatiha. Our tutors who work with new Muslims are patient, supportive, and understand that this is both a learning journey and a deeply personal one.

Parents Learning Alongside Children

You want to learn Noorani Qaida yourself so you can support your child’s practice at home. Our Family plan enrolls two students who can attend together or separately at the same fee. Many parents who join the Family plan cite this as the most valuable decision they made for their family’s relationship with the Quran.

Older Beginners Who Have Tried and Stopped

You started online Quran learning before and stopped because the class moved too fast, the tutor was inconsistent, or life got busy. Our noorani qaida classes have no fixed pace. You progress when your tutor confirms you are ready, not when a syllabus says to move on.

Why this course

Online Noorani Qaida | Class Plans, Fees and Free Trial

Every online Noorani Qaida course plan below includes one-on-one private sessions. Your child or you never share a class with another student. Sessions are delivered on Zoom or Skype. Times are fully flexible around your schedule.

Plan Sessions/Week Monthly Fee (USD) Best For
Starter 3 sessions $30 Kids 3 to 8 years, total beginners
Standard 4 sessions $40 Older kids, non-Arab adults, beginners
Intensive 5 sessions $55 Quick learners, adults who want to finish fast
Family 4 sessions x2 students $65 Two children or parent + child together

Most children aged 4 to 8 complete all 16 lessons in 3 to 5 months with 3 to 4 sessions per week. Adults who attend consistently and practice daily between sessions often finish in 2 to 3 months. The pace is not a race. A child who rushes through Makharij in Level 1 and moves to Level 2 without accuracy will carry those mispronunciations into Quran recitation. We do not allow that.

Session Scheduling

Noorani Qaida Course Tutors | Qualified, Verified Staff

We do not hire tutors based on self-reported credentials and an online test. Every tutor who teaches our noorani qaida course holds a formal qualification in Quranic sciences and has had their Makharij and Tajweed assessed by a senior scholar before joining.

Ijazah Certification

Our tutors hold Ijazah in Quran recitation. This means their knowledge comes through a verified chain of transmission connecting back to the Prophet, peace be upon him, through recognized Islamic institutions. When your child learns from one of our tutors, they are receiving knowledge with a documented scholarly origin, not a YouTube tutorial.

Male and Female Tutors

We have both male and female teachers available for all plans. Sisters learning noorani qaida and parents who want a female tutor for their daughter can request this at enrollment. All female tutors hold the same qualifications as male tutors.

Children's Learning Specialists

Our tutors who teach qaida for kids are trained specifically in working with young learners aged 3 to 12. They use repetition, visual engagement, gentle encouragement, and short session segments to match a child’s natural attention span. Teaching an 8-year-old Arabic letters is a different skill than teaching an adult.

Native Arabic Speakers

All our tutors are native Arabic speakers. This matters for Makharij because the subtle phonetic differences between letters like Ha and Kha, or between Ain and Hamza, can only be modelled correctly by someone who grew up producing those sounds. A non-native speaker who has studied Tajweed can explain the rules. A native speaker also lives them.

Parents Say

What Parents Say About Our Online Noorani Qaida Classes

My son is 6 years old and had never seen an Arabic letter before we enrolled. After 4 months of the Starter plan, he reads all 29 letters correctly without looking at the book. His tutor learned exactly how to hold his attention. We were skeptical about learning through a screen but the one-on-one format removed every concern.

Umm Ibrahim, UK

I am 34 years old and a revert. I wanted to learn Noorani Qaida properly before trying to read the Quran. My tutor did not treat me like a child or make me feel embarrassed about starting from zero. In 3 months on the Standard plan I completed all 16 lessons. I can now read Surah Al-Ikhlas without any help.

Sister Amina, USA

We enrolled two daughters on the Family plan. One is 7, one is 10. Both have different paces and the academy assigned them separate tutors who adjusted accordingly. The progress notes after each session are exactly what we needed as parents who do not speak Arabic ourselves.

Who it's for

Online Noorani Qaida Classes | Our Session Format Explained

Our online noorani qaida classes run on Zoom or Skype. Every session is private, one student and one tutor, for the full 30 to 45 minutes. Here is exactly what happens in each class.

Start of Session: Revision

Every class opens with 5 to 8 minutes of revision from the previous session. The tutor asks your child to recite what they covered last time. This is not a test. It is how Quranic knowledge is retained. Repetition in the first minutes of each session builds the memory pathways that make each letter automatic before adding a new one.

New Lesson Content

The tutor introduces the new element, whether it is a new set of letters, a new Harakat exercise, or a new Tajweed rule. They model it first with correct pronunciation, ask the student to repeat, correct any Makharij errors, and repeat until the sound is accurate. New content takes 15 to 20 minutes in a standard session.

Practice Exercises

The Noorani Qaida has printed exercises after every rule. The tutor guides the student through these exercises out loud, correcting in real time. For qaida for kids, tutors break exercises into small sections and use encouragement actively. For adults, exercises are covered at a faster pace with more technical explanation.

End of Session: Assignment and Feedback

Every session ends with a specific practice assignment for the student to do before the next class. The tutor also sends a brief written note to the parent after each session, covering what was covered, what was strong, and where the child needs to practice before next time. Parents can see their child’s progress without waiting for a monthly report.

Learn the Quran and teach it, for whoever learns it and teaches it, they are the best of people.”  [Sunan Ibn Majah 212]

Every day your child spends reciting without correct Makharij is another day those patterns become harder to correct. The good news is that young children correct Makharij faster than adults, and the correct foundation, built now, serves them for the rest of their Salah.

The first class is free, takes 30 minutes, and requires nothing but a device with a camera and an internet connection.
